Operating Companies are where deployment lives.
An Operating Company is a venture that has cleared the five-year window and the three-year review, and now operates independently of SIH. The current register is empty. Three ventures are inside SIH today, on paths that may lead to graduation.
Three ventures, in flight.
-
Ikshana
SIH formationA family of modular precision machines, including 3D printers.
-
Distributed Manufacturing Systems
SIH formationInfrastructure for distributed, networked production at facility scale.
-
Advanced Thermal Solutions
SIH formationThermal management for data centres, electric vehicles, and high-density power systems.
What graduation means.
A venture graduates to Operating Company status when the following hold:
- Runs day-to-day without SIH support.
- Has an independent board.
- Can raise or sustain capital independently.
- Its relationship to the research system is governed by formal agreement.
Sphuran Innovation Holdings recommends graduation. The holding company approves. The venture then sits directly under the holding company as an Operating Company.
The register stands empty.
The first Operating Companies will appear here as they graduate. Each entry will link to the company's independent site.
